Barbecue Chicken

I use to prepare this recipe for our dinner is simple preparation and love by everyone in my family.

Ingredients:

3 lb (1.5 kg) chicken
1 cup (250 ml) spicy or bold barbecue sauce
3 cups (750 ml) prepared coleslaw
6 corn on the cob
1 cup (250 ml) fresh pineapple wedges
2 limes, cut into quarters
6 large pickles
1 large bag potato chips

Procedure:

1. Cut chicken into pieces and marinate in barbecue sauce for at least two hours or overnight.
2. Remove chicken from marinade and cook on pre-heated barbecue set at medium heat.
3. Turn chicken frequently and cook until meat thermometer register 165 fahrenheit when inserted into thickest part of chicken pieces.
4. Brush with additional sauce just before serving.
5. When chicken is almost cooked; cook corn on the barbecue for 10 minutes, turn frequently and spread with softened butter before serving.
6. Cook pineapple wedges on barbecue for the final few minutes.
7. Serve chicken with barbecue pineapple wedges, fresh lime wedges, coleslaw, corn, pickles and chips.
